The Virgin Suicides by Sofia Coppola (1999)
With Kirsten Dunst, Josh Hartnett, James Woods
AMAZING film. I really liked it. The story was catchy and even with a little mistery part I loved, the cast was quite good and something I pay a lot of attention, the colouring and the shots, were just lovely.
I usually like Kirsten Dunst in flims, but here it was almost everything. The atmosphere of the film was perfect; you could feel the sisters' innocence, mistery and their wish to be free. It was all so natural, young and fresh, but still you could percieve how they were overprotected, almost imprisoned.
And as I've said, brilliant story, script and filming; every scene made me feel its atmosphere, with those special colours and light Sofia Coppola uses.
But well, just my opinion. Has anyone seen it?
